Job title:
Lead, design, schedule, plan, forecast, resource, implement and manage all activities to ensure accuracy, quality and the successful and safe implementation of formation treatments including hydraulic acid fracturing stimulation procedures in wells operating in the UAE.
Responsible for the overall performance of the frac acid catalysis in gas condensers and the compilation of details of the production enhancement/frac acid catalysis programmes.
Participate in technical reviews of the project and review of proposals to ensure efficient/economical operations.
Provide expert advice and assistance on operational issues and act as a leader when assigned to special projects
Writing technical tender scope for stimulus projects and conducting technical evaluation for commercial tenders.
Conduct root cause analysis investigations to solve problems and implement lessons learned for future operations.
Hold seminars, prepare brochures, trains, and develop other engineers and operating staff.
Assist with field HSE audits, investigations and/or initiatives.
Ensure that all NPT events are captured and that NPT reports are aggregated, closed, and stored as required.
Ensure all well control standards are met in all respects including equipment configuration, testing and crew response.
Ensure that rig personnel and company/contractor personnel comply with applicable safety standards and procedures.
Act as a mentor to less experienced engineers, both in the field and in the office.
Participate in emergency preparedness activities.
Make recommendations for alternative methods or equipment when encountering unusual situations.
qualifications:
50 years and over
Bachelor of Engineering
IWCF Level 4 Well Control Certification
More than 10 years of experience as an expert in catalytic production (acid and fraction) with experience in onshore fields
More than 10 years of experience in acid/frac job planning and coiled tubing operations
More than 5 years of experience in preparing bids and contracts related to production enhancement, acid cracking and other catalytic services
Full understanding of the equipment and technical requirements of various services required for successful frac acid catalysis functions
You have international experience and significant beach experience in the Middle East. Ideally, he has previous experience in the UAE
Very familiar with acid cracking/challenges and solutions
Previous experience in both field and office roles
Experience crushing in HP tanks? HT
Experiment with high temperature wells of 302 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
Design and implementation, QA/QC, and further functional analysis of acid and supportive fracturing treatments
Experience in H2S environments
Computer use and strength – Microsoft Office user, especially Word and Excel
Mastering Acid – Frac Catalytic Principles and Industry Standard Software Applications
Knowledge of audit process, NCRs, response and incident reporting
