Given the ongoing success in Saudi Arabia, program advisory firm SNC Lavalin is seeking to recruit an experienced PMO/Program Manager to join our team already established in Jeddah to support and oversee major business programs.

responsibilities

Lead the PMO team in implementing the contracted PMO services.
Define the PMO strategy and lead the design and implementation of a common project management methodology, standards and tools to drive and facilitate the successful implementation of projects within the programme.
Lead the implementation of the PMO Governance, Reporting and Review Framework to provide a comprehensive view of all organizational program activities.
Define benefit management plans and create performance management tools and KPI reports aligned with the program strategy.
Manage coherence and coordination across projects within the program to ensure that information regarding project deliverables, risks and issues is communicated effectively among stakeholders and that KPIs are monitored and evaluated.
Identify and define key strategic issues for the organization and integrate diverse stakeholder interests with the broader agenda to inform and prioritize the development of initiatives and proactively understand and mitigate risks.
Define governance strategies and organizational policies to enable strategic coordination of multiple projects and initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of projects.
Promote collaborative and collaborative relationships with project leaders and senior stakeholders, assess cross-functional project team capacity, provide training, coaching, and support to enhance project/program management capacity, and improve collaborative development and project outcomes.
Ensure implementation and compliance of the company’s integrated management system.
Develops organizational breakdown structures and HR requirements including formal reporting pathways and internal team development assessments.
Manage fee commission on behalf of the business including fulfillment of technical commitments and scope of consultancy contract.
Effective management of internal job cost in relation to fees and resource requirements.
Providing service to clients and acting as a primary front, ensuring client trust in Faithful + Gould.
Identify new and innovative project management approaches and tools and include them in the daily conduct and activities of the organization’s operations

Experience and qualifications:

Minimum requirements for a degree in a relevant discipline from a reputable university.
Preference will be given to those candidates who hold PMO accreditation from international project management organizations.
At least 20 years of project management experience demonstrating relevant PMO management experience.
Demonstrate ability to demonstrate effective implementation of PMO duties from initial brief through delivery to final completion.
Productive supervision of subordinates including adequate planning, control and control
Ability to manage a team on major/complex programmes/projects.
Effective team control and team spirit/culture building.
Manage resources by collaborating with business leaders.
Retaining existing clients for further business and securing new clients.
Ability to represent SNC Lavalin at executive level meetings.
Demonstrate an understanding of overall PMO requirements and the ability to advise the client with knowledge on cross-cutting project management issues
Demonstrate effective leadership and high commitment to achieving goals
– Excellent communication skills. Including report writing and presentation skills
