ACS is looking for skilled system engineers with real operating system experience, especially in Solaris and Linux systems. The engineer will join the EMEA Experience Center, a team that centrally provides proactive and reactive services to any country across EMEA. Advanced Customer Support (ACS) is an organization that provides mission-critical support services to the full suite of Oracle products. Advanced customer support understands customers’ needs and helps them increase availability, improve performance, mitigate risk, and save cost.

The mission of our competent ACS engineers
To develop and manage the technical relationship with specific account(s) in order to maximize the value of advanced customer support for the client,
– to develop and maintain trusted relationships with other Oracle Contacts within the designated account(s) and related third parties,
To act as a technical primary point of contact for Oracle and Oracle Support
Maintaining customer satisfaction, and renewal, by offering quality and added value.

responsibilities
Deliver high quality technical results to ACS clients;
Ensure adherence to methodology, tools and internal quality standards.
Determining required/recommended actions on customer systems as a key output of service delivery, based on own knowledge and experience;
Understand customer requirements and based on their skills and experience, ability to design the appropriate architecture using the most appropriate products and design a technical plan to integrate them and implement the technical solution.
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues that the customer may encounter using Oracle products whenever possible.
Timely escalation of client issues to the Technical Account Manager when required;
Active participation in the development of services.
Effectively collaborate with other engineers on the team or in other teams, to share knowledge, experiences, etc., which can benefit ACS business results.
