As a member of the support organization, your focus is on providing after-sales support and solutions to Oracle’s customer base while acting as an advocate for customer needs. This includes resolving aftersales non-technical customer inquiries by telephone and electronic means, as well as technical questions regarding the use and troubleshooting of our electronic support services. As the primary customer contact point, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with support and advising and assisting internal Oracle personnel on diverse customer situations and escalating issues.
As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you are an instructor, with solid experience across stack and tiers (application and system), focused on creating and managing business solutions using Oracle technology, the surrounding processes, and the Oracle service infrastructure required to achieve the highest levels of service (eg, availability and performance etc.) and the consequent high customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for setting the overall technological direction of the key areas to invest resources in, building internal expertise and leveraging knowledge within the support organization. You are expected to solve and help direct the resolution of many very difficult and complex problems and escalations involving many product areas, while advising senior technical advisors on projects, reviewing their work and advising areas for self-advancement.
Provide leadership and expertise in developing new products/services/processes, frequently working at the forefront of technology. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (advanced degree such as MBA and/or Ph.D. plus) 10 years of relevant experience prior to taking this position. In addition, extensive experience with Oracle* products, applications, and core tools. Only top-performing candidates who have demonstrated high integrity in previous positions/grades are considered.
