We provide customized and proactive solutions for all Oracle applications and technologies: Sun Servers and Storage, Database, Middleware, and Applications.
Highly skilled Advanced Services Engineers (ASE) support the continuous operational improvement of Oracle environments. ASE does this by leveraging the intellectual property built on Oracle’s support and customer experiences throughout their participation in Oracle technologies.

Senior Support Engineer at ACS
DBA Application Expert
Core Activities and Responsibilities:
A highly experienced senior Oracle Applications Database Administrator with deep technical expertise in installing, configuring, upgrading, migrating and managing large production versions of Oracle Applications and the EBS family of products. Ideally, you should have 6-10 years of work experience as an Apps DBA to manage production environments. Strong in performance tuning of Oracle applications and troubleshooting middleware stack components.

Works on customer site implementing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading Oracle R12 applications and Oracle MW components (Web Logic, OID, etc.)
– Works with support to solve customer problems.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions within the Oracle team and end users.
Work closely with the functional team and delivery leaders to deliver engagements work estimates and drive job work excellence.
Ensures that new services are appropriately captured and placed in the ACS repository
Proactively maintains knowledge of current and future Oracle product/solution offerings for the selected supply chain area.
Technical qualifications:
Highly experienced in implementing, configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading Oracle R12 applications.
Installed offer to install Oracle Application R12.1 & R12.2 on Enterprise Linux production environments.
Experienced in installing and managing middleware components such as Oracle WebLogic Server, OID, etc.
Good knowledge of internal concepts of Oracle RDBMS, RMAN backup and recovery, performance tuning, logical and physical database design.
Experience working in an enterprise environment and supporting critical production databases and applications.
Experience installing, configuring, upgrading and managing different versions of Oracle Database.
Strong experience working as an Oracle Applications DBA on 12.x versions.
Strong understanding of product structure and ability to analyze and solve problems across multiple layers of the stack.
Exposure to RAC and ASM management.
Must have the ability to upgrade and migrate databases from one platform to another using various tools such as Oracle Data Pump, RMAN, TTS/XTTX and perform migrations using these tools.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
Must be familiar with day-to-day operations such as monitoring, performance tuning and making recommendations after AWR and ADDR reports are generated.
Memory related troubleshooting with Oracle 12c and debugging with RAC and non-RAC.
Provides support for Oracle database environments that include problem identification, reporting, tracking, analysis, and resolution.
Strong knowledge in shell scripting.
Good knowledge of PL/SQL.
Experience working with Oracle applications and databases running on the Oracle Cloud Platform.
Experience in migrating from on-premises databases to Oracle Cloud.
Basic software networking skills.
