Primary Healthcare Centres, RCSI-Bahrain sign agreement

Manama, September 30 (BNA) Primary health care centers signed a cooperation agreement between the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-Bahrain) to support health care services.


Under the agreement, primary health care centers will provide their facilities for the purposes of education, training and scientific research for medical school professors.


The Royal College of Surgeons of Bahrain will also provide support services, including laboratories, libraries, diagnostic and therapeutic services. for primary health care centers.


Minister of Health Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan stressed the efforts made to strengthen public health services and build more partnerships with educational institutions.


Dr. Lulwa Rashid Shwiter, Acting CEO of Primary Health Care Centers, said that the agreement will enhance cooperation with the Royal College of Surgeons of Bahrain, the leading academic institution in the Arabian Gulf region.


She praised the efforts of the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain in supporting employees working in the primary health care sector, stressing the commitment to enhancing the level of services.


Professor Samir Al-Atoum, President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain, emphasized the strong partnership with primary health care centers to achieve common goals, support services and keep pace with the future needs of medical studies and clinical research.
