Primary Healthcare Centres mark Bahraini Doctor’s Day

Manama, November 3 (BNA) Primary health care centers today held a ceremony on the occasion of the annual Bahraini Doctor’s Day, which falls on November 1 of each year.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Primary Health Care, Dr. Abdul Wahab Muhammad, thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the royal care and support.

He also expressed his sincere thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his continuous follow-up, praising the steps of Bahraini doctors in the era of prosperity for His Majesty the King.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Shawqi Amin, said that this annual occasion reflects the government’s keenness and care for Bahraini medical cadres to continue their pioneering role and their quest for excellence.

Dr. Jalila Al-Sayed Jawad, CEO of Primary Health Care Centers, also delivered a speech at the ceremony, praising the royal directives to launch the Medical Merit Medal of Prince Salman bin Hamad.

She also praised His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for his support of the health system, which, she said, reflects Bahrain’s strategic vision.

She also praised the critical role of the medical staff, who transformed the challenges resulting from the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19) into achievements that won international praise and enabled Bahrain to reduce the epidemic and reach the stage of recovery.
