Manama, August 7 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today visited the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Manama, where he met with the Chargé d’Affairs, Dr. Affairs, Ann Gallando en Luis, to offer condolences on the death of late President Fidel Ramos.
Dr. Sheikh Abdullah expressed the Kingdom’s condolences to the government and people of the Republic of the Philippines, and recalled with appreciation the contributions of the late president in serving his country and people.
He also highlighted his role in consolidating relations between the two countries in various fields, wishing the Republic of the Philippines continued progress and prosperity.
