Manama, August 7 (BNA) The Head of Human Rights Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Arwa Hassan Al-Sayed chaired a series of meetings with various civil society institutions in preparation for the report of the Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights.
The meetings discussed the most important recommendations of the universal periodic review, and reviewed the progress made by the Kingdom in this regard.
They also highlighted the National Human Rights Plan and projects related to strengthening the work of civil society institutions and their contributions to supporting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom.
