Manama, November 8 (BNA) The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, met the Inspector General of the Italian Foreign Ministry Natalia Quintavalli. .
Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa praised the historical relations between the two countries at all levels. He also referred to the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Rome in February 2020, which yielded fruitful results and laid the foundation for a growing strategic partnership between the two countries.
He also reviewed the current developments in terms of enhancing bilateral cooperation, stressing the importance of following up on the implementation of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries.
Inspector General Natalia Quintavali expressed her country’s aspiration to strengthen relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields. She praised the Kingdom’s stances in establishing regional security and stability, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
