what are you going to do
As our partner in the experience and culture of the people of the country, you will support our work in designing, implementing and leading engagement and well-being activities.
We are looking for a strong collective player to support in driving the department’s operational and strategic agenda in the UAE. To succeed in this role, you will be involved in creating a people-centric growth culture alongside our leaders, front-line workers, back-office and warehouse teams.
In addition, you will be a member of the Group Culture and Experience team and will be involved in designing people culture and experience products for our entire group.
Work responsibilities:
Employee Experience and Culture Integration
• Activating collective culture initiatives across the country (office, stores, warehouses)
• Drive, empower, and inspire the People Experience & Communities Culture in increasing employee engagement and satisfaction
• Adopt, personalize and include people’s experiences and culture initiatives in the country
• Identify people facing challenges and pain points through focus groups and drive implementation of the action plan
• Deploy the UX suite and people experience products in the country, such as setup, internal navigation, tools, platforms, etc.
Partnering with the country leadership team to drive the formation of a culture and workplace targeting all employees in different workplaces Source of Wellbeing and Leading wellbeing initiatives across the country (office, stores, warehouses) Localizing and launching a collective wellbeing calendar and initiatives in the country
Diversity and inclusion
• Localization and activation of D&I interventions for the country
• Lead a diverse and inclusive workplace and track D&I dashboard to achieve country ambitions
• Support individuals’ experience and culture in instilling a sense of belonging to the group, endorsing regional cooperation, and securing comprehensive activations targeting all employees in different work sites

• Source and lead welfare initiatives across the country (office, stores, warehouses)
• Localization and launch of group welfare calendar and initiatives in the country
What you will need to succeed
• Strong HR background within the UAE
• Recent experience in culture change, employee engagement and employee experience enhancement
• Experience working across functions – able to engage with people at all levels and from all areas of the business
• Comfortable in public speaking – able to motivate and excite large groups of people
• Event management experience (in addition to the HR experience listed above) would be very beneficial
