Job description and summary
The PwC Academy is looking for a candidate who is organized and able to handle all the financial tasks assigned to them. This is a great opportunity for a junior accountant who is looking to develop their skills and make a valuable contribution to a financial career. The role provides the opportunity to develop their digital skills while helping the business monitor performance.
Main responsibilities:
– Preparation of management information including analysis of share profitability
Prepare month-end benefit schedules for all engagements in line with month-end deadlines
– Track actual spending for each interaction against the plan
Monitor and ensure compliance of the wider Academy team with financial engagement tracking tools and controls
Manage work in progress, ensuring timely billing for corporate engagement
– Billing and cash assignment for Open Academic Courses compatible with Salesforce CRM
Ensure open cycle sales comply with credit control policies
Reconcile the Academy’s Open CRM course with iPower billing
Ensure open cycle sales comply with credit control policies
Review and process vendor invoices including ensuring VAT compliance
– Manage public engagement, job code generation, final billing and closing
– Lifting the interstitial bills of exchange between
Liaise with central finance teams to ensure processing deadlines are met
– Keeping financial records and other assigned tasks – (Preparing reports/scheduling)
Favorite skills
High level of technical proficiency and computer literacy especially using Excel, Word and Powerpoint (Google Apps equivalent)
Desirable: Experience using digital visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
Minimum years experience required
– 5 years previous experience in finance
