Job description and summary

Career in People Analytics – You will work closely with key stakeholders across HC, LoS and leadership to develop clear and insightful analysis, reports and dashboards relating to people data, and you will be responsible for supporting the leadership of the people, business, and key business decision-making processes within the company.

The People Analytics function is responsible for providing PwC leadership insights and solutions across a number of key people areas, including: leadership analytics, successful attribute identification, performance and learning and development, attrition and retention, and satisfaction and culture.

As the People Analytics Operational Reporting Manager, you will support the function’s agenda to provide operational reporting and analysis to inform business decisions and strategy imperatives. Responsibilities for this role include:

• Work closely with stakeholders to assess current and future reporting and analysis requirements
• Design, manage and develop robust dashboards and reporting frameworks – including proof of concepts and enabling initiatives (such as data collection, quality reviews, data governance) to communicate a broad range of data, metrics, and people-related insights to HC and LoS stakeholders and leadership
• Develop clear user guidelines and educate users about the functionality of dashboards and reporting
• Develop a methodology for evaluating and responding to individual data requests
• Selection and use of statistical procedures to obtain actionable insights
• Manage and coach team members for the successful completion of projects – not only within your team, but also delegates and project-based resources
• Work with the central enterprise data team and other stakeholders to build data models to support automated provisioning of analytics
• Supporting data-driven projects – including proof of concepts and enabling initiatives

Favorite skills
• Advanced degree in Data Science/Data Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or any other related field
• Knowledge of database design and data management systems
• High proficiency in Alteryx and/or object-oriented programming and data-manipulation languages, such as Python, R and SQL
• Highly proficient in the use of visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI
• Demonstrable history of creating and overseeing data-centric projects
• Distinguished supervision and guidance capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to relay complex people and data insights in layman’s terms, so they can be used for business decisions
• The ability to promote a healthy and stimulating work environment that frequently harnesses teamwork
• Compliance with prevailing ethical standards
• Understand professional service firms and business models

Minimum experience
• More than 5 years of experience with at least 2 years in data analytics or similar, preferably in people analytics
• Experience in HR is a plus
