Participate in opening and closing tasks for pastries in accordance with internal standards and procedures and contribute to the storage and receipt of goods when needed
– Follow security/fire/safety procedures as per set rules and regulations and report any incidents to the hierarchy
– Prepare high-quality pastry items according to specified recipes, HACCP standards, portion control practices, and item presentation guidelines, then send the prepared orders to different outlets
Ensure the workstation is clean at all times during the shift by cleaning the refrigerator, shelves and counter, sharpening knives and cleaning tools at the end of the shift
– Check at the start of his shift that the products ordered for his service station are on hand according to the set parity level and the performance of ordering products from the in-store
– Check the shelf life of products, mark the production/expiration date on each product, monitor and communicate numbers of wasted products
Maintain good product/food knowledge to be able to answer any queries and provide feedback when needed
qualifications
High school diploma, technical diploma is a plus
One to two years experience in food and beverage operations in a similar role
