We are looking for a Creative, Analytical and Entrepreneurial Business Development and Partnerships Manager skilled in building new marketing programs from scratch, and iterating on those already in place. As a Partner and SA Partner Manager, you will create value for partners, associates, and clients.. The right person for this role will be able to join the team and make recommendations based on existing data, manage existing partnerships, take on new partnership opportunities, and create processes that simplify cross-team joint efforts.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in partnerships, as well as experience working with multiple stakeholders. He or she will have a high analytical and innovative bar as well as a deeply creative mindset with the ability to investigate complex challenges and find innovative solutions adapted to the needs of SA clients.

Basic tasks:
• Lead negotiations with key external partners and affiliates, delivering value to both partner and Amazon
• Be the Sole Proprietor of Threads in Egypt for Marketing Partnership and Affiliate Business Development Opportunities
• Devise and implement “test and learn” strategies on a case-by-case basis to drive engagement with partners and clients and expand strategies globally when successful
• Define, onboard and manage exclusive new partners and associates
• Measure your partnership end-to-end and provide updates to key stakeholders
• Owning the implementation of partnerships from start to finish from prospecting, negotiation, legal contract signing (working with the legal team), on-site marketing implementation, design management with the design team, accounting standardization (with accounting team) and reporting
• Building annual and quarterly plans and expectations for Egyptian partnerships
• Work comprehensively with the legal team to improve the Partnership Agreement and reduce barriers resulting from protracted negotiations.
• Create and scale innovative partner initiatives across different sectors (content sites, blogs, deals, coupons, ad networks, price comparison shopping engines) and influencers in particular.
• Define, hire and manage associate accounts.
• Track, measure and report channel results, prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on KPIs and translate analytical results into actionable insights, action actions and summary recommendations
• Develop and own relationships with Amazon’s internal marketing teams to understand roadmaps and evaluate opportunities.

Basic qualifications
• Native Arabic speaker
• More than 8 years of professional experience in marketing, e-commerce, FMCG or in a demanding corporate environment
• Strong analytical background and attention to detail with the ability to use data to measure performance and identify improvements
• Proven marketing and communication skills
• Proven project management skills
• Clear evidence of team management and motivation, whether direct or indirect reports.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Strong and persuasive verbal and written communication skills (in both English and Arabic), including a proven track record in dealing with government and the media.
• Strong organizational, managerial and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects and achieve results.
• University degree in business, economics, marketing or any other related field of study.
