Manama, Jan. 2 (BNA): The Parliamentary Committee charged with studying the government action plan 2023-2026 held its eighth regular meeting, chaired by Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, in the presence of Representative Abdulnabi. Salman Ahmed, First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives and members of the Committee.
The Speaker of Parliament confirmed that the government’s program includes broad lines for the next four years as a general policy document. The plan also comes in implementation of the royal speech he delivered at the opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa directed the continuation of the government’s efforts in implementing the economic recovery plan and the fiscal balance programs.
During the committee’s meeting today, the second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Ahmed Abdel Wahed Qarata, gave a visual presentation, which was discussed by the attending deputies.
