Manama, March 14 (BNA): Speaker of Parliament, Inter-Parliamentary Union 146y Council President Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam praised the keynote speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the opening of the 146th Inter-Parliamentary Union.y crowd.

He stressed the importance of the royal call for building a more just and equitable global political, security and economic system, strengthening legislative and technical cooperation, and adopting an international agreement to criminalize religious, sectarian and racist hate speech in all its forms. He explained that “the royal invitation represents an instinctive human goal and an urgent international demand, in light of the repercussions of hatred, hostility, wars and conflicts that the world faces, and the challenges that target its security and stability.”

He urged multilateral cooperation, under the umbrella of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, to adopt these important theses to reach a unified guiding vision that is reflected in national legislation and the positions of member parliaments.

Addressing the closing session of the Union 146y The Muslim Conference attributed the success of the event to the support of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He pointed to the importance of international parliamentary meetings to implement the goals of sustainable development and address challenges, noting that the future of humanity depends on collective action.
