Job description and summary
The Payroll Officer is responsible for processing payroll, remitting payroll taxes and government reports as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and annual payroll transactions. The Payroll Officer will ensure compliance with government regulations in each country, validate and process all implemented policies and manage the impact of payroll.

Ensures that all payroll transactions are efficiently and accurately handled for data collection, computation and entry in order to maintain and update payroll information.
Compile and report summaries of non-taxable earnings, taxes, deductions, vacation and wages.
Determine payroll obligations by calculating the employee’s monthly income, social security taxes, employer social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments or bills through the payroll system.
– Resolve payroll discrepancies and issues maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
Regular filing and archiving of payroll information and legal documents on a monthly basis.
Create custom reports for all financial and operational reports as needed.
– Processing contracts for new employees and termination of service (from a payroll perspective).
Responding to general salary inquiries.
-Work closely with the Finance team and the local HC team.
Any additional tasks or responsibilities during the daily payroll operations
