One restaurant closed, legal action taken against 16 outlets for violating Yellow Alert Level protocols

Manama, Jan. 28 (BNA) The Ministry of Health announced the closure of one restaurant for violating the precautionary measures of the yellow alert level.

During the intensive inspection campaigns conducted yesterday in various governorates on 158 restaurants and cafes, in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Bahrain Exhibition and Tourism Authority (BTEA), law enforcement officers also found that 16 outlets violated the same health protocols approved to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The new Corona virus, and legal measures were taken accordingly.

The Ministry of Health called on everyone to continue to adhere to the precautionary measures, and to immediately report any violations or abuses, noting that the inspection campaigns aim to protect public health and limit the spread of the epidemic.
