On behalf of Industry Minister, undersecretary attends Tech Camp closing ceremony

Manama, August 10 (BNA) Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry Iman Al-Dosari, on behalf of the Minister of Industry and Trade, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, attended the closing ceremony of the second session of the “Annual Young Entrepreneurs” program. Tech Camp “at the Diplomat Hotel on Sunday.

Al-Dosari affirmed the government’s commitment to continue investing in human capital through various training programs, noting that the technology camp serves the national goals of transforming into a digital economy.

Al-Dosari added that the camp will encourage entrepreneurship and creativity among Bahraini youth, thus strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a regional center for technological development and technology-related investments.

The second edition of the camp took place between July 17 and August 7, and hosted university students majoring in technology-related fields.

The head of the camp’s organizing committee, Ahmed Bouhaza, explained that this year’s camps witnessed the participation of 20 university students over a period of three weeks.

Bouhaza added that the technology camp offered various training programs on topics related to business solutions and self-development. The camp also provided students with networking opportunities through visits to various industry-related entities and companies.

The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by speeches and honoring of the students by Her Excellency, who also received an honorary award and concluded the ceremony with a tour around the programs, praising such projects for their initiatives in the advancement of Bahraini youth.
