Omani delegation briefed about Bahrain’s quality assurance experience

Manama, September 12 (BNA) The CEO of the Education and Training Quality Authority, Dr. Tariq Al-Sindi, and a number of officials from the Education and Training Quality Authority received today a delegation from the Omani Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality. Education Assurance (OAAAQA).


The delegation is visiting the Kingdom to see its experience in the field of ensuring education and training.


This visit comes within the joint program between the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) and (OAAAQA) to exchange experiences in the field of quality assurance between the Kingdom and the Sultanate of Oman, and to highlight Bahrain’s experience in the fields of education, training and academic qualifications frameworks, as it is among the first experiences in the field of quality assurance. . At the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.


Dr. Al-Sindi stressed that the experiences of the Education Quality Authority are among the most successful experiences at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, as many sister countries are keen to see them within the framework of their partnership and cooperation with their counterparts in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.


He stressed that the experience of the Education and Training Quality Authority has contributed to enhancing similar experiences in other Gulf Cooperation Council countries through cooperation and partnership agreements signed with them.


The delegation was also briefed on the experience of the Education and Training Quality Authority as one of the initiatives to develop education and training in the Kingdom.

He was also briefed on the mechanisms adopted by the Education and Training Quality Authority in reviewing the performance of educational, training and vocational institutions and their procedures in conducting national examinations and placing national qualifications in the National Qualifications Framework.
