Manama, Dec. 8 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Trade Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro met Maher Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Universal Rolling Factory (Unirol).
The meeting reviewed issues of common interest, as well as developments and work mechanisms in the factory.
The minister affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in the growth of investment projects and global factories, noting the facilities provided by the government to enhance the Kingdom’s investment position as a gateway for business in the region, which contributes to attracting major international projects to the Kingdom.
Fakhro praised the new steps taken by UNIROL’s management to transform the facility into an advanced, environmentally friendly facility, and their work to increase productivity in accordance with local and international standards, noting the importance of UNIROL as one of the largest iron factories in the Kingdom for the production of reinforcing steel.
Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance and develop partnerships between the public and private sectors, and to raise the private sector’s contributions to the economy and national development.
