Oil Ministry, Bahrain Chemists Society inaugurate chemical forum

The Minister of Environment and Oil and the Special Envoy for Climate, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dina, delegated Executive Vice President of the Authority Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Khalifa to inaugurate the first National Chemical Forum (Chemistry with a Bahraini Vision) with the participation of a number of chemistry specialists from various national companies and institutions.

The forum was organized by the Bahraini Chemists Society in cooperation with the Ministry and with the support of specialized companies.

The forum emphasized the role of chemistry in the industrial, analytical, environmental and academic fields, highlighting the role of Bahraini chemists, exchanging knowledge and discussing chemistry in the petroleum and petrochemical industries, the environment, the industrial and economic sectors, in addition to the academic fields. studies.

The vice president of the authority reviewed the administrative and technical experiences and practices, and studied the best innovative solutions to enhance production sustainability.

He stressed the importance of studying this specialty related to transforming chemical raw materials into useful and valuable products such as petroleum products, the plastics industry, the fertilizer industry and other industries.

The Vice President of the Saudi Council of Engineers thanked the President of the Bahrain Society of Chemists, Dr. Abdul Wahed Al-Nakal, for preparing this important forum and for the supporters, speakers and participants from various industrial companies in Bahrain.

The conference was attended by more than 120 specialized personalities from various industrial companies such as the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), the Gulf Petrochemical Industry Company (GPIC), and the Aluminum Bahrain Company (Alba), in addition to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. , SCE and academics from the University of Bahrain (UoB).
