SCH President inaugurates operations, reanimation rooms expansion project at SMC

Manama, June 5 (BNA): The President of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, inaugurated today the project to expand the operating and recovery rooms at the Salmaniya Medical Complex. The inauguration took place in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Governmental Hospitals, Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, the CEO of Governmental Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Ansari, and senior officials.

First Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also praised all those responsible for the project, which reflects the keenness of the Kingdom and the government to develop health services and achieve the goals of the comprehensive development process.

The President of the Supreme Council of Health is proud to inaugurate the pioneering project that aims to further improve health services in the Sulaymaniyah Medical Complex.

The Minister of Health described the opening of the expansion project as an added value to the initiatives aimed at advancing the health sector. She praised the efforts of the medical staff in various specialties, especially the rare ones.

Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa affirmed that the momentum of various development services and projects aims to serve Bahraini citizens, the focus and goal of development. He pointed to the continuous keenness of the Board of Trustees of government hospitals to improve the services provided to citizens and residents.

Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Ansari expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Chairman of the Council and all concerned officials for the project, which was implemented in record time, and reflects the government’s keenness to raise the level of health services and achieve goals.
