Odegaard’s free kick earns Arsenal 1-0 win at Burnley in EPL

London, September 18 (BNA): Martin Odegaard’s free kick triumphed in the first half of Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Burnley that extended his unbeaten run in the Premier League to 13 games on Saturday.

The Norway international scored the only goal in the 30th minute to relieve the pressure on Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, who opened his team’s season with three consecutive defeats, according to the Associated Press.

Arteta’s side scored their second straight league win after beating Norwich 1-0 last weekend, but were indebted to the controversial VAR intervention that Burnley felt stole a second-half penalty.

Arsenal kept extending their unbeaten league run at Turf Moor to 10 games and left Burnley with one point from their first five games.
