Manama, October 6 (BNA) Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Nasser Vocational Training Center (NVTC), received CEO of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority Nouf Abdul Rahman Jamsheer and the accompanying delegation at the center’s headquarters in Jaw.
The two sides discussed cooperation to develop the skills of job seekers through NVTC training programs, and highlight plans to transform the center into a comprehensive educational city.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi stressed his keenness to coordinate efforts to support national development through community partnerships and to contribute to providing the labor market with efficient and distinguished educational outcomes.
He affirmed the support of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, head of the National Center for Vocational Training.
Jamsheer stressed the cooperation of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority with the Center to provide standards and requirements for practicing a number of professions in order to enhance quality and competitiveness and maintain an efficient labor market.
The delegation toured the facilities of the National Technology Center NVTC and was briefed on the latest machines and technologies that hone students’ skills, in addition to classes, sports facilities and artificial intelligence workshops.
