NSSA receives Japanese Ambassador

Manama, February 21 (BNA) Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Asiri, CEO of the National Space Science Authority (NSSA), received Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Kiyoshi Asako.


The meeting reviewed topics of common interest and discussed ways of cooperation in space science and technology, and promoting the peaceful exploitation of space to achieve the United Nations sustainable development goals.


The ambassador praised the achievements made by the authority within a short period of its establishment, and praised its distinguished initiatives that serve all segments of society and support spreading awareness of space sciences.
