Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): Governor of the North, Ali bin Sheikh Abdul-Hussein Al-Asfoor, received US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Stephen Bondy, and Head of the Political and Economic Department at the Embassy, Elizabeth Hatting.
The Governor of the North welcomed the ambassador, praising the deep bilateral relations, cooperation and joint keenness to strengthen them. He also expressed his happiness at the recent opening of the King Hamad American Mission Hospital in A’ali. He described the opening of the hospital as confirmation of the strong relations between the two countries.
The American ambassador thanked the Governor of the North for the warm reception, praising the programs that the Northern Governorate is setting up, especially at the health, sports and social levels.
