Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa offered condolences to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish people and the families of the victims following the earthquake that struck southeastern Turkey.
His Majesty the King, during a phone call, called on God Almighty to have mercy on the souls of the victims in the vast paradise, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
His Majesty the King affirmed Bahrain’s firm solidarity with Turkey and its people, and its readiness to provide all possible support to help mitigate the effects of the earthquake and overcome the repercussions of this natural disaster.
The Turkish president expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his feelings, calling on God Almighty to protect the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people from any harm and to provide them with permanent security, prosperity and development.
