Manama, November 8 (BNA) The Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding) announced the discovery of two new natural gas deposits in two unconventional layers, “Al-Joubah” and “Al-Jawf” located under the gas. – Production of “Al-Khoof” and “Unayzah” tanks in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The significant discoveries are in line with the vision and ambition of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to enhance the natural resources and their value in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On the occasion, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Nogaholding, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, said that recent discoveries and positive results provided valuable information needed to move forward with further evaluation. of wells to take advantage of all the potential of promising natural gas resources. “This information available to us paves the way for the future development and production of the natural gas resource for the benefit of the Kingdom of Bahrain,” he said.
It is noteworthy that Tatweer Petroleum has implemented all drilling operations and related activities.
Additional drilling operations are scheduled to take place during 2023 and 2024, during which two layers will be tested, “Al Taweel” and “Al Sarah”, located below the “Al-Jawf” gas reservoir, in addition to the horizontal drilling experiment in the “Al-Juba” well to improve productivity.
