Manama, September 13 (BNA) The head of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Dirazi, stressed the institution’s role in protecting and raising awareness of human rights.
He was speaking during his meeting today with the Head of Political and Economic Affairs at the US Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Elizabeth Hutting. He reviewed with her a number of issues related to human rights and the institution’s role in dealing with them.
The American diplomat expressed his thanks for the warm reception, stressing the importance of the National Human Rights Institution in protecting and promoting human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She wished the kingdom and its people further growth and prosperity.
