Manama, Aug. 2 (BNA) The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Dirazi, met with the Human Rights Adviser at the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations Office in Geneva and Minister Plenipotentiary Hassan Musa Shafei. I.
The meeting discussed coordination between the Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the field of human rights.
The two parties stressed the importance of cooperation during the fourth session of the National Institution for the Universal Periodic Review of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Bahrain’s Universal Periodic Review will be held at the Human Rights Council in Geneva in November.
Al-Darazi stressed the importance of the institution’s participation and objectives in promoting and protecting human rights.
