Manama, April 4 (BNA) President of the National Institution for Human Rights Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi met with the President of the National Council for Human Rights in Egypt, Ambassador Moushira Khattab.
This came on the sidelines of his visit to sign a joint agreement with the Human Rights Monitor in the Arab Parliament.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in accordance with national legislation granted the status.
The ambassador stressed the distinguished bilateral relations and the importance of strengthening these relations in the field of human rights.
Al-Darazi praised the role played by the council at the local, regional and international levels.
He pointed out the importance of strengthening technical cooperation to raise capacities in the field of human rights in accordance with international standards.
