Manama, Nov. 30 (BNA): The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, participated in the meeting of the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The meeting reviewed the Foundation’s report submitted to the committee on the Kingdom’s progress in implementing the provisions of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
The Committee commended the National Institution for Human Rights for its efforts to eliminate all forms of discrimination, and for implementing recommendations to improve the application of international best practices in the field of human rights.
