To publish room revenue, balance ledger to guests daily and review the work of the restaurant auditor.
Specific duties and responsibilities
– After room charges on guest sheets and balance with The Night Clerk.
Post all other charges for the day that were not previously posted in the guest ledger.
– Handles the front office clerk with all transactions during The Night Shift.
Audit guest ledger charges from F&B outlets and secondary departments (telephone, fax, laundry, etc…) to balance with the restaurant summary sheet and other control papers.
– Prepares the ledger trial balance.
Prepares front office reports and matches numbers with the restaurant summary sheet.
Education and qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Business or related fields from a recognized institution.
