Manama, September 5 (BNA) The National Health Regulatory Authority has launched a new electronic system for submitting requests and dates for registration and classification of medicines, pharmaceuticals and alternative medicine products.
Dr. Maryam Athbi Al-Jalahma, CEO of the authority, said: “This step allows agents to book an appointment through the electronic system, choose the appropriate time and submit applications for registration and classification of pharmaceutical products.”
She pointed out that the new electronic system will facilitate the application process instead of sending via e-mail or in person.
“The agent can choose the appropriate day and time to submit all applications for registration and classification of pharmaceutical products, including drugs, health products, nutritional supplements and alternative medicine materials,” she said.
The supervisory authority has established a system to facilitate the process of completing registration procedures, drug classification, and registration of some requirements for generic drugs, and urgent cases.
