African Atlantic countries agree to enhance partnership for prosperity

Rabat, July 13 (BNA): The third ministerial meeting of the African-Atlantic track was concluded Wednesday in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

The meeting issued the “Rabat Declaration 2”, which confirms the political commitment of the member states to develop their partnership with the aim of strengthening cooperation and integration between the countries of the African Atlantic Ocean to promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region.

According to the MAP, the importance of the strategic priorities of the MAP to support integration and common development in the region was emphasized. These priorities include port regulation, pollution control, the blue economy and clean tourism.

In his statement, Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressed the importance of joining efforts and establishing partnerships with other cooperation initiatives of the countries of the South and North Atlantic, including the US initiative to enhance cooperation in the Atlantic.

The objective of this process is to enable these African countries to take advantage of the opportunities and address the challenges in the region.
