HM King issues Decree 50/2023 on restructuring Justice Ministry

Manama, June 14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Royal Order No. (50) of 2023 to reconfigure the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, based on a proposal by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments. Endowments and after the approval of the Council of Ministers.

According to the decree, the Ministry of Justice was restructured as follows:

The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments shall:

First: Communications Directorate

Second: The Judicial Accounts Directorate

Third: Assistant Undersecretary for State Issues and International Cooperation, in charge of:



Directorate of Legislative Affairs and International Cooperation

Institute of Judicial and Legal Studies

State Litigation Authority (Directorate level)

Directorate of Human and Financial Resources

Information Technology Directorate



Fourth: The agent for courts, family reconciliation and alimony, followed by:



Directorate of Reconciliation and Family Alimony

Assistant Undersecretary for Courts and Enforcement Affairs, and supervises:




Courts Directorate

Directorate of Documentation and Implementation



Fifth: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs, in charge of:



Minors Fund Directorate




Directorate of Minors Affairs




Assistant Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs, with specialization in the following:




Directorate of Religious Affairs

Directorate of Holy Quran Affairs

Zakat Fund Directorate

Zakat Fund Directorate

Royal Decree (49) of 2019 restructuring the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments is annulled.

The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments shall implement the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect upon its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
