Manama, July 10 (BNA): The Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, held today, in the presence of the Chief of Public Security, a meeting with the governors and directors general of the police directorates in the four governorates.
The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between governorates and police directorates to protect the security and public safety of citizens and residents, and to enhance communication and coordination on security and social issues.
The minister stressed the importance of programs, activities and initiatives to enhance prevention in dealing with various security issues. He thanked the governors for their continuous interaction and field operations.
He appreciated the police personnel for their professionalism and proactive measures to enhance community awareness and national responsibility.
He highlighted the low crime rate required to continue development, modernization and performance evaluation to protect achievements and enhance services. He wished them all success in serving the country.
