LMRA conducts four joint inspection campaigns across all governorates

Manama, July 14 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out four joint inspection campaigns with the relevant government agencies. The campaigns resulted in the reporting of violations related to the labor market, residency laws, and more. Cases have been referred for legal action.

The inspection campaigns included visits to a number of shops and work sites to determine the extent of compliance with laws and regulations in order to preserve the competitiveness, stability and productivity of the labor market.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority stated that two joint inspection campaigns were carried out in the northern and southern governorates, in coordination with the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence.

She added that the third campaign was carried out in partnership with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Capital Police Directorate in the Capital Governorate, while the fourth campaign was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The Directorate General of Civil Defense and the Municipality of the South in Muharraq and Northern Governorates.

The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices, by reporting violations through the electronic form on the Authority’s website. www.lmra.gov.bh Or by calling the Commission’s call center at 17506055.
