NIHR President receives UNDP Acting Resident Representative


Manama, July 4 (BNA): The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, received the Acting Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Bahrain, Firas Gharaibeh.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation.

Al-Derazi affirmed the Foundation’s keenness to cooperate with the United Nations and its agencies to launch training programs and to participate in the international conference on the right to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment, which will be organized next September.

Gharaibeh expressed his interest in supporting the development of more cooperation with the National Institution for Human Rights, adding that he appreciated their efforts in contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals and promoting a culture of human rights in Bahrain.
