Cairo, July 17 (BNA): His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal.
The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif praised the close relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the efforts led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to promote peace and brotherhood and support national development to transform the Kingdom of Bahrain into a beacon of peaceful coexistence.
Zainal conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and his appreciation for his efforts in spreading Islam and spreading the values of human brotherhood, world peace and positive coexistence.
