Egyptian Social Solidarity Minister receives Ambassador to Cairo

Cairo, July 11 (BNA): The Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, received Ms. Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences in social protection and economic empowerment programs in the two countries.

Al-Qabbaj congratulated Zainal on her appointment as ambassador to Egypt, wishing her success in performing her duties, and further development of bilateral relations.

The ambassador reviewed the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the programs of economic empowerment, support and the social protection network that it provided to Bahraini citizens, in light of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Zeinal praised the programs and services provided by Egypt to various segments of society in social protection and economic empowerment, and its leadership’s keenness to extend social security.
