Deputy Premier chairs BIPA board meeting

Manama, July 11 (BNA): Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa chaired today the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Institute.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, recently issued Resolution (44) for the year 2023 to reconfigure the Board of Directors of the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA), headed by Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

Sheikh Khalid stressed the importance of continuing to develop policies and initiatives to enhance the performance of the national workforce in the public sector in line with the best practices of administrative governance by institutionalizing creativity as a sustainable culture to contribute to achieving sustainable goals under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the decree issued by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister regarding the restructuring of the institute represents a step forward towards further development and building on the current achievements of the institute in the field of administrative development.

The Vice President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the former General Manager and the Board of Directors for their efforts.

He affirmed the Council’s aspiration to achieve current and future goals and initiatives through coordination with the executive body of the Institute headed by Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute.
