Manama, Dec. 20 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,917.93 points marking an increase of 3.74 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the communication service sector, financial sector, material sector, real estate sector and consumer staples sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index has closed at 728.45 points marking a decrease of 0.63 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 119 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,171,240 worth BD 825,230.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 32.30% of the total value of securities traded.
