Cairo, June 12 (BNA): Head of the Human Rights Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Arwa Hassan Al-Sayed, headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the consultative meeting on international dealings with human rights mechanisms (special procedures).
The meeting, organized by the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the League of Arab States, took place from June 11-12 in Cairo, Egypt.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation with United Nations human rights mechanisms.
A presentation was made that highlighted cooperation with special procedures, best Arab practices, and ways to enhance cooperation opportunities in the future.
