The Deputy Prime Minister chairs the weekly Cabinet Meeting

Manama, July 3 (BNA): His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, chaired the weekly cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.

The Council of Ministers congratulated the pilgrims of the Kingdom of Bahrain on their safe return from the Hajj.

The Cabinet expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing the utmost comfort and care to all pilgrims, including the pilgrims of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and congratulated the Kingdom’s leadership, government and people for the successful organization of this year’s Hajj season. .

The Council of Ministers welcomed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s award for the best office for pilgrims’ affairs among the three countries that obtained the highest satisfaction rates of their pilgrims for the Hajj season 1444, as part of the “Betum” award offered by the Ministry of Hajj. and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Cabinet praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in maintaining public security and safety, along with other ministries and government agencies that provided various government services during the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday.

The Council of Ministers directed to continue inspection campaigns targeting irregular workers in all governorates of the Kingdom, and to increase monitoring of workers violating labor market regulations.

During the meeting, the Board discussed several notes and agreed on the following:

1. A memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding a draft decree amending some provisions of the decree establishing the Public Authority for Sports.

2. A memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding a draft decree amending Article 1 of the decree appointing the competent ministry and naming the competent minister in charge of implementing the decree-law regarding the mobilization of public funds.

3. A memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and Samsung Gulf Electronics.

4. A memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding a memorandum of understanding between the Central Bank of Bahrain and the Central Bank of Kuwait.

5. A memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding a framework between the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), the Abdullah Bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies and the Central Bank of Bahrain Endowment Fund.

6- The memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs clarifying the government’s response to three proposals submitted by the House of Representatives.

The Cabinet also reviewed the memorandum of His Excellency the Minister of Shura and Parliamentary Affairs regarding the progress of the work of the first regular session of the sixth legislative term.

In conclusion, the Cabinet referred to the following ministerial reports:

1. The outputs of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in the work of the regular session (53) of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information.

2. The foreign participation of government officials and the visits of foreign delegations to the Kingdom of Bahrain during this month.
