Manama, October 25 (BNA) The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2022) announced today the teams participating in the flight shows that will be held in the upcoming sixth edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) on November 9-11, 2022 under the patronage of His Majesty the King. Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of BIAS. BIAS is organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTT) and the Royal Bahrain Air Force in association with Farnborough International.
After successful participations in previous years, the Saudi Falcons team from the Royal Saudi Air Force and the UAE Air Force’s Aerobic Knights Show team are participating in this year’s edition to showcase their skills by performing exciting shows in the skies of Sakhir around the world. A three-day event, along with other notable aerobatics teams.
In his comment, the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi said: “We are pleased to see the Saudi Falcons Show teams and aerobatic jockeys continue to support BIAS, confirming the distinguished and strong historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.”
“We are proud to have renowned aerobatics teams with high maneuverability and absolute control of aircraft in multiple situations. We look forward to welcoming visitors to the Bahrain International Airshow and the public to witness their unforgettable performances with the great level of skill of these international teams.”
Other teams participating in BIAS 2022 include the famous aerobatics team of the RAF “Red Arrows”, the USAF, Global Stars and the Pakistan Air Force, who will be performing amazing performances throughout the days of the show. Both visitors to the Family Zone and participants to the Trade Zone will be able to enjoy these air shows.
