Manama, Aug. 15 (BNA): The University of Bahrain (UoB) has completed the announcement of the final admission results for the 2023-2024 academic year, including those of requests to update preferences.
UoB President, Dr. Fuad Mohammed Al-Ansari, said that UoB sought to respond to the largest number of students’ choices according to the principle of competitiveness, which is based on the students’ grade point average (GPA), the sole criterion for admission, in addition to the capacity of the academic programmes.
He stressed that UoB was able to finalise the admission process and provide educational seats for eligible students thanks to the kind support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr. Al-Ansari wished the admitted students every success and distinction in their university career, calling upon new students to focus on academic achievements, and acquire life, professional and soft skills, as well as make maximum benefits from the university stage, which prepares them to the labour market.
UoB’s Admission and Registration Deanship said that the results of requests to modify preferences are available on https://usis.uob.edu.bh/, calling on the relevant students to confirm their admission via the post-admission service.
