HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (45) of 2023

Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued Resolution (45) for the year 2023 amending some provisions of the regulations for setting wages, employment benefits, and eligibility conditions for employees subject to the Civil Service Law. , issued by Decree No. (77) of 2013, based on a proposal from the Civil Service Bureau.

Article (1)

Article (12) of the Regulations for Determining Wages, Work Benefits, and Entitlement Conditions for Employees Subject to the Civil Service Law issued by Resolution No. (77) of 2013 is amended as follows:

“A monthly allowance is granted to improve the standard of living in the amount of 85 dinars or 100 dinars for employees who are entitled to the salaries shown in the table contained in Appendix No. (3) attached to this regulation, according to the specific terms and conditions of the Civil Service Bureau.”

Article 2)

The schedule contained in Appendix No. (3) attached to the regulations for determining wages, employment benefits and eligibility conditions for employees subject to the Civil Service Law promulgated by Decree No. (77) of 2013 shall be replaced by the accompanying schedule. decree.

Article (3)

The term “Diwan” (device) replaces the term “Diwan” whenever it appears in the Regulations for Determining Wages, Employment Benefits, and Entitlement Conditions for Employees Subject to the Civil Service Law promulgated by Decree No. (77) of 2013.

Ministers, the head of the Civil Service Bureau, and concerned parties – each within his jurisdiction – shall implement the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect immediately upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
